ABOUT THE EXHIBITION

Discover Fort Worth’s hidden world of art and mixology.

Perched above the rhythm of Fort Worth, this rooftop experience at Escondite invites guests into a more intimate tempo shaped by light, atmosphere, and attention. Here, art and mixology come together as parallel acts of discovery.

Featuring work by Vanessa Daly, recently recognized as Best Artist of 2025, the exhibition explores the subtle dialogue between human behavior and the natural world. Drawing from a foundation in psychology, Daly’s work reflects on how nature offers guidance through patterns, rhythms, and quiet intelligence, yet is often overlooked in the pace of modern life.

The rooftop setting is central to this experience. Elevated and discreet, it creates a threshold between the everyday and the reflective. As daylight transitions into sunset, guests are encouraged to slow down, observe, and engage with both the artwork and their surroundings with greater presence. The experience reflects the essence of something escondido, hidden in plain sight and revealed only to those who seek it.

A limited-time mixology program deepens this idea. Like the sunset, each cocktail exists for a brief moment, crafted with precision and meant to be experienced fully in the present. Together, the exhibition and the bar create an environment where time, perception, and experience feel intentional, intimate, and refined.

Join us for this curated encounter that invites guests to pause, notice, and rediscover the richness within what is often overlooked.

meet the artist: Vanessa Daly

Artist & psychologist

She is the abstract artist behind Dos Santos Fine Art. Vanessa creates evocative works that weave her deep connection to nature with her background in psychology. Born in Venezuela, with Portuguese and Italian roots, she has called Fort Worth home for the past eight years and was voted Best Artist of Fort Worth by Fort Worth Magazine (2025).

Influenced by the textures of the natural world and the depths of the human psyche, Vanessa creates abstract pieces that speak to the shared human experience. Her art invites viewers to embrace life’s journey, find beauty in adversity, and uncover the lessons that nature give us, but we are too busy to see.

In an increasingly fragmented world, Daly’s art offers connection. Her art builds bridges across cultures and emotional terrains. Her commitment extends beyond the canvas, supporting causes that center women, children, and mental health.

Languages: English, Spanish, French and Italian.
