Inspired by the messy middle of human growth. Everyone admires butterflies, but just a few are willing to take the necessary journey to become the best version of themselves. Let's own our beautiful mess since it's necessary to achieve the new person we desire to become.

This artwork considers how perception, bias, and the need for control shape our interpretations of our human experience. Yet, nature resists these frameworks. What unfolds is often irrational, unplanned, and beyond comprehension. Rather than judge, this artwork invites a shift toward acceptance, recognizing that we are not separate from nature, but subject to its greater, unknowable force. Ground yourself in this mindset, and you will gain your power back.

This artwork centers on the act of pausing, allowing us to settle before reacting.
it reflects on presence as a regulatory practice. It invites awareness, breath, and attention to anchor the body in the present moment.
In a constant state of motion, this artwork, and this show, invite stillness: to ground, to listen, and to reconnect with what is often overlooked within and around us.

Inspired by the Nihilist Penguin.
“But Why?” is inspired by the solitary path of the Nihilist Penguin as it leaves the safety of its social structure to pursue something unknown.
This piece also reflects a deeply human impulse: the need to step beyond comfort in search of personal truth, even at the risk of loss or death.
It sits at the edge of belonging and independence, where meaning is not given, but forged through the courage to walk alone and carve our own path.
