Perspectives was inspired by my first trip to the beach in Belgium. The North Sea looked so different from the Caribbean Sea I know, yet I learned to appreciate the many shapes of the same element. I noticed how people connect with the sea in their own ways—some by reading a book, others by simply listening to its voice.

Nature shapes us all, just as our experiences do. This became another lesson from nature: to embrace others’ perspectives and understand where their mindset comes from, rather than judging or believing my sea—or my way—is better. It’s simply a different expression of the same source.
